“Your Pathway to Become a Certified University Lecturer”
The Professional Lecturer Development Program (PLDP) is a specialised lecturer training programme designed to prepare graduates and professionals to become competent and certified lecturers in universities and private colleges. Organised by Innovative University College (IUC) and supported by Yayasan Pendidikan Kasih Malaysia (YPKM), this 3-month fully online programme offers two professional courses: the Young Lecturer Program (YLP), focusing on Artificial Intelligence for early-career lecturers, and the Certified Lecturer Program (CLP), which includes advanced training in Artificial Intelligence and the e-MAS (Electronic MQA System). Participants will receive structured teaching preparation and assistance in applying for a Teaching Permit upon completion.

Application Procedure
- Applicants must complete the application form for the Young Lecturer Program / Certified Lecture Program scholarship.
- Only successful applicants will be shortlisted and called for an interview session.
- Only those who pass the interview session will be issued an offer letter.

On which days are the classes held, and how long do they last?
Classes are held every Saturday and Sunday:
1st Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Break: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2nd Session: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
What if I am working and cannot attend classes?
That’s not an issue. The classes are flexible. You just need to inform the person in charge (PIC), and recorded sessions will be provided
